Ketep Pass

Magelang have many tourism places. There are visitor often visit to Magelang and one of place that become destination tourism is Ketep Pass.

Ketep Pass located in Slope Mountain, exactly in ketep village, Sawangan, Magelang for about 31 km from Mungkid city. Territory Ketep Pass is SSB (Solo-Selo-Borobudur) because that ways is an alternative way to Solo city. Moreover that ways is the way to Salatiga and Boyolali. When we go to ketep pass needs about 45 minutes from Magelang, we go to Ketep Pass can by motorcycle, car, bus, public transportation and any another transportation.

Ketep Pass has complete facilities. There is large parking that can collect transportation like bus, car, motorcycle, etc. You just need 7 thousand rupiah to go to Ketep Pass. In Ketep Pass there is a Gardu Pandang that gives beautiful scenery. From Gardu Pandang will seem the high of Merapi Mountain with many villages in mountain slope and the field scenery that very large. Another facility is rental of telescope. Telescope used to see a mountain. To borrow the telescope just need 10 thousand rupiah. The visitor also served miniature or rock volcano in museum Merapi Mountain. That museum gives learning about rock and material volcano. Another facility is movie about climber and eruptions process of volcano from the first eruption until the last eruption in 2010 years. We can watch that movie in Volcano Theater. Just needs 15 thousand rupiah we get see that movie. Ketep Pass also gives some facility like mosque and toilet. The mosque and toilet in there is very cleanness. Ketep Pass has also many stall that provide some food like fried rice, cord, soft drink and any others.
 

Ketep Pass also has beautiful scenery. In way to Ketep Pass can seem field, garden, river with the way curve. There are many big trees growing in around ways so if we pass that way can feel cool. The field is very large with rice plant that ready to harvest. The farmers busy to cut rice field and to pack in the pouch. In Ketep Pass there are many large garden that growing kind of vegetables and fruits. The fruits are tomato and strawberry even though the vegetables are cabbage, chili, eggplant, carrot, lettuce, celery, mustard greens and any others. The garden in Ketep Pass also plant tobacco. River in there is very cool and water still clear. If you arrive in top Ketep Pass can see that scenery with beautiful scenery of Merapi Mountain. Many visitors often use that place to take some photo because Ketep Pass give a good picture.
